AI Cyber Defense Engineer
The AI Cyber Defense Engineer is responsible for strengthening the Cyber Defense Operations team by leveraging Artificial Intelligence to combat evolving cyber threats, especially those utilizing adversarial AI techniques. This role involves conducting advanced research, developing AI-driven solutions, and providing operational support to identify, prevent, and mitigate AI-based threats. The engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement AI in cybersecurity strategies and solutions, monitor AI threats, and drive innovation in the defense landscape. The AI Cyber Defense Engineer is also responsible for identifying opportunities to enhance operational capabilities through AI-driven tools and products, while staying current on industry advancements. Key Responsibilities: Conduct advanced research to detect, analyze, and predict AI-based cyber threats and adversarial techniques. Analyze AI threat trends, document adversarial capabilities, and identify security gaps to develop appropriate countermeasures. Partner with threat intelligence teams to gather, analyze, and interpret AI-related threat data, enhancing overall situational awareness. Develop and implement innovative Cyber Defense AI solutions to detect, prevent, and mitigate cyberattacks using AI technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional cybersecurity teams to integrate AI-based solutions into existing security frameworks and operational platforms. Design and execute AI-driven defense strategies aimed at mitigating emerging threats and attacks. Create, operationalize, and maintain a detection & monitoring service focused on the abuse of AI gateways, consumption, and enterprise solutions. As needed, support the Sr. Director of Cyber Defense on AI & Non-AI Cyber initiatives & projects. Collaborate with cybersecurity analysts, engineers, and industry experts to enhance the organization’s security posture through AI. Provide subject matter expertise, training, and guidance to cybersecurity teams on AI-related threats and defense strategies. Engage with external research communities and attend industry conferences to stay informed of the latest AI and cybersecurity developments.
