Cyber Security Internships – Academic Year 2025-2026

Operations & Technology: (O&T) is a $1B operating cash flow ($1.5B FCF) division of NBCUniversal. The group functions as a global shared service within NBCUniversal performing critical functions including Media, Broadcast and Studio Operations & Production, Content Supply Chain, Information Technology and Engineering, as well as Cyber Security. The group operates from numerous locations around the world, including New York, New Jersey, Los Angeles, Denver, Connecticut, and London.   Areas of placement may include, but are not limited to: Cyber Security, Information Security: Our Film/TV ISO (Information Security Officer) group supports our Cyber Security business engagement for all Film and Television related business units within NBCUniversal. Our team is the liaison between Cyber Security and Film/TV stakeholders for enterprise cyber security compliance, governance, and remediation related projects and efforts. For our Film/TV business stakeholders, we are embedded security partners that have detailed business knowledge and understanding of their role, workflows, customers, and company strategy. As such, we are well positioned to support the Cyber Security needs of a Film/TV stakeholder, ensuring created content is protected, secured and cyber risks are minimized. Our responsibilities include and are not limited to creating Cyber Security Architecture & Engineering (SAE) reviews, Cyber Defense response activities (inc. Incidents & investigations), facilitating Cyber tool onboarding, Cyber consulting/training/awareness, and Cyber support in collaboration with dedicated Cyber SMEs. A Cyber intern will support/shadow Cyber Security Managers (Currently 3 within Film/TV, supporting Film, TV & Animation) on numerous operational and project tasks. There will be exposure to vulnerability management and continued DreamWorks network integration activities. Cyber Security, Consumer Prod Security - SAE: Consumer Product Security is a new organization within NBCU Cyber supporting Global Streaming properties, including Peacock, SkyShowtime, Showmax, and others. The intern will receive exposure across multiple teams in those properties, including playout, global commerce, and others. There are also projects pending involving GenAI. The intern will get to collaborate with other members of the team through peer review sessions, support other engineers in their analysis activities, and assist with periodic status and metrics reporting.
