NBC News Digital Video Productions is seeking an experienced and creative journalist, to produce, script, shoot and edit for its original social video team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to creating original social videos for NBC News and our GenZ news brand Stay Tuned; helping evolve the overall social video presence of these news brands with a focus on vertical video for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Snapchat; identifying key news moments and figuring out the best companion social video. NBC10 Boston and NECN, the NBC Owned Television Stations, are looking for a passionate, experienced, and innovative consumer/investigative reporter to join our special projects team. You’ll be working out of a new state-of-the-art broadcast media center that is home to NBC 10 Boston, NECN, Telemundo Nueva Inglaterra and NBC Sports Boston.
Responsibilities Through the creative use of the camera, and proficient lighting and editing skills, will provide the viewer with a story on a given topic. Will operate ENG camera, live truck, and edit on Premiere edit systems. Respond quickly to breaking news while taking direction and interacting with the assignment desk, reporters/anchors, production, control room, and appropriate Telemundo/NBC personnel.

NBC Sports Boston is seeking an intern who will work side by side with our content producers across our different platforms (linear, digital, social, audio). This position is perfect for students who are studying broadcast journalism and are interested in working in Sports. Students will be responsible for communicating with others on a variety of levels, using a wide range of communication tools, assisting with research, brainstorming ideas, archiving/logging feeds, creating graphics, writing copy, and organizing and prioritizing tasks.

In this position, you are an integral part of the Sports Operations team. You are responsible for supporting the production coordination needs of the assigned broadcast for remote events. In addition, as needed, you are expected to interface and collaborate with colleagues working in the Studio to help facilitate all aspects of event logistics.
Responsible for preparing and executing the operation of the automated production control system (APC) for live and taped television and digital platform broadcasts. Build rundowns (automated or non-automated) for all broadcasts, PSA’s, commercials, etc. Operates control room computer and automation, which includes the creation and utilization of templates to automate production functions including: Technical directing, audio mixing, robotics operations, commercial integration, live/remote segment cut-ins, video file playback, graphics insertion and switching.

This is a multi-platform role that is responsible for generating output on a rolling news cycle. It is especially focused on creating original content for all outlets, including Nightly News, The Today Show, MSNBC, NBC News Now and other livestream programs, and NBCNews.com. The position is based in the NBC News London bureau and covers Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and occasionally Latin America.
