NBC News Digital Video Productions is seeking an experienced and creative journalist, to produce, script, shoot and edit for its original social video team. NBC10 Boston and NECN, the NBC Owned Television Stations, are looking for a passionate, experienced, and innovative consumer/investigative reporter to join our special projects team. The Line Producer will be responsible for day-to-day operational duties in connection with the production office and studio. This is a project/limited term position with an estimated duration of approximately 5 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.

NBC Sports Boston is seeking an intern who will work side by side with our content producers across our different platforms (linear, digital, social, audio). This position is perfect for students who are studying broadcast journalism and are interested in working in Sports. Students will be responsible for communicating with others on a variety of levels, using a wide range of communication tools, assisting with research, brainstorming ideas, archiving/logging feeds, creating graphics, writing copy, and organizing and prioritizing tasks.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a project / limited term position with an estimated duration of 6-12 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed. In this position, you are an integral part of the Sports Operations team. You are responsible for supporting the production coordination needs of the assigned broadcast for remote events. In addition, as needed, you are expected to interface and collaborate with colleagues working in the Studio to help facilitate all aspects of event logistics.

Responsible for preparing and executing the operation of the automated production control system (APC) for live and taped television and digital platform broadcasts. Build rundowns (automated or non-automated) for all broadcasts, PSA’s, commercials, etc. Operates control room computer and automation, which includes the creation and utilization of templates to automate production functions including: Technical directing, audio mixing, robotics operations, commercial integration, live/remote segment cut-ins, video file playback, graphics insertion and switching.

This is a multi-platform role that is responsible for generating output on a rolling news cycle.
