The Executive Producer must be a dynamic leader who can guide evening and weekend news coverage for two stations. The EP manages teams of producers, content producers, and writers on all aspects of newscast production while working closely with the assignment desk and overseeing/reviewing the work of reporters and photojournalists. The Executive Producer works with the News Directors of WNBC & WNJU to lead editorial content, branding, and production of news coverage that demands a breaking-news approach, as well as exclusive investigations and long-term projects.

Assist in the maintenance of studio cameras and manage the movement of all set pieces and props. Partner with the Director to create visually compelling and varied shots. Train others for backup purposes as required.

Collaborate work with technical and news staff to meet production needs for live, taped, and automated programming. Familiarity with 5.1 surround sound, upmixing, downmixing, and operation of associated support equipment.
