Editing and shooting stories, interviews, videos, packages and other projects as assigned for linear and digital platforms. Assisting producers with coordinating and directing shoots and contribute in the pre-production process. Maintain production equipment and computer backup systems. Keep up production video database as well as software. Keep track of upgrades and keep supervisors and engineering department apprised of software and maintenance needs. Complete projects as assigned. Operate studio cameras.

The Digital Content Producer plays a major role in the day-to-day execution of Telemundo 48 El Paso’s digital news strategy, working with other local news staff to ensure the offering is consistently up-to-the-minute, differentiated, impactful and relevant to a new generation of local users. The role combines acute attention to detail, rapid response, editorial judgment and flair, and consistent day-to-day execution and project-management responsibilities within a 24/7 newsgathering operation. The job is developed in person working in a collaborative environment.
