The Anchor/Multimedia Journalist is responsible for writing, script editing, and delivering news stories daily. They collaborate closely with producers to ensure stories are accurately written and presented on the daily newscasts. Anchors/Multimedia Journalists also provide local and national news and generate ideas to increase ratings. This position will report to the VP of News. Responsibilities: Present newscasts to the viewer in a professional and well-articulated manner, including breaking news during live reports, special community coverage, and reports.

The candidate must also be able to work with news production and non-linear editing systems.
