NBCU Local is reimagining storytelling for the next generation of local news watchers, delivering local content to English and Spanish-speaking audiences in 31 U.S. TV markets and Puerto Rico. We are comprised of NBC Owned Television Stations, NBC Sports Regional Networks and Telemundo Station Group – plus multicast networks COZI TV and TeleXitos, regional cable news network NECN, and 16 free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channels – including 11 NBC local news, four Telemundo regional news channels.

Responsible for preparing and executing the operation of the automated production control system (APC) for live and taped television and digital platform broadcasts. Build rundowns (automated or non-automated) for all broadcasts, PSA’s, commercials, etc. Operates control room computer and automation, which includes the creation and utilization of templateto automate production functions including: technical directing, audio mixing, robotics operations, commercial integration, live/remote segment cut-ins, video file playback, graphics insertion and switching.

Responsibilities: • This person will be responsible for covering live sporting events of all local, professional and sports teams or related local sports stories. • Candidate is responsible for producing, writing, shooting and editing his own stories and segments. • This person will be responsible for keeping up to date on current events in the world of sports. • The Sports MMJ will also be expected to participate in community events and station activities from time to time as master of ceremonies and/or Host as requested by the Station.

The NBC Local division is charged with creating valuable and engaging content across multiple platforms (broadcast, online, mobile, and emerging digital platforms) for local audiences in 10 NBC and 24 Telemundo markets and for 3 Regional Sports Networks. The local websites, mobile products and social media platforms cover essential local news, national news, entertainment and features of high audience interest. Our central digital news desk provides national news, assistance with local news, and product and technical guidance to the local markets, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

This position will be responsible for growing revenue across NBCUniversal Local OTT and digital platforms, including NBC Spot On, Peacock, NBC / Telemundo Full Episode Player, and Linear TV including Telemundo. The AE will develop an understanding of our ad products, leverage tentpole events like the Olympics, Super Bowl, and World Cup, and have solid consultative selling skills to be able to best develop solutions to meet client needs. New business, revenue closure, account relationship building, customer satisfaction, and product implementation success are key responsibilities.

The Telemundo Nueva Inglaterra News Producer will be responsible for news of the day, special coverage, in-depth stories, breaking news and other news-related content as needed.
