Responsible for preparing and executing the operation of the automated production control system (APC) for live and taped television and digital platform broadcasts. Build rundowns (automated or non-automated) for all broadcasts, PSA’s, commercials, etc. Operates control room computer and automation, which includes the creation and utilization of templates to automate production functions including: Technical directing, audio mixing, robotics operations, commercial integration, live/remote segment cut-ins, video file playback, graphics insertion and switching.

NBC 6 South Florida is seeking a multiplatform content producer who will be responsible for gathering, writing, and editing stories and videos for broadcast and digital platforms including streaming channels. This content producer will also work with line producers, reporters and anchors to gather elements and assist in the production of news stories and interview segments. Write and update stories including breaking news for TV and digital platforms.

WTVJ is seeking a strong writer with a passion for news to produce content for multiple platforms. On broadcast, you’ll be able to hone and show off your producing skills while maximizing video and graphics on our beautiful set. On other platforms, you’ll be able to help shape the brand we present. You’ll need to line produce, write, copy edit, edit video, gather content and produce elements all under heavy deadline pressure, without compromising accuracy and credibility.

Gathering information. Shoot, write and edit newsworthy events including breaking/spot news, general news and feature stories relevant to the South Florida community. Collaborate with line producers, reporters and anchors to gather elements and assist in the production of news stories and interview segments. Collaborate with the Assignment Desk, Producers and Reporters to research news segments and place on appropriate platform. Use desktop editing systems to edit video including breaking news.
