NBCU Local is reimagining storytelling for the next generation of local news watchers, delivering local content to English and Spanish-speaking audiences in 31 U.S. TV markets and Puerto Rico. The Data Management and BI Team is seeking a Sr. Staff Data Engineer to join our team. We build data pipelines to land, profile, and store multiple internal & external datasets. We also build applications that surface this data to support our business partners’ strategic decision-making. We're an AWS shop that uses open-source technologies including Scala, Python, Pandas, Spark, Hive, and Postgres as well as BI tools, such as Tableau and MicroStrategy. We work in a very agile environment, where product specifications are flexible and often change rapidly over time.

We are seeking a Senior Staff Data Engineer looking to build the next generation of data pipelines and applications across the development of innovative new systems and solutions using a rapidly changing landscape of emerging technologies including generative AI and large language models.

Global Network and Distribution operations team is responsible for maintaining NBCU’s corporate and broadcast network. We are looking for an engineer who has a broad spectrum of knowledge with all networking technologies. Being in operations team needs understanding of all parts of network. Also includes working with vendors and clients to resolve issues, working with other network teams such as engineering, architects, automation teams to understand the changing network and troubleshooting problems. We maintain a 24x7 on call rotation.

NBCUniversal’s Operations & Technology organization has an opening for a Senior Network Engineer. The Senior Network Engineer will work within a dedicated team of Network architects and engineers tasked with rethinking NBC’s global edge and campus network infrastructure. The selected candidate will define and implement NBCUniversal’s NextGen Network according to standard and best practices, working closely with partners and stakeholders to gather requirements and derive possible solutions.
