NBCUniversal is seeking a Manager, Production Assets to serve as a primary client-facing partner for Universal Studio Services, supporting Universal Television productions and third-party clients across commercials, feature film, television, music videos, and events. This role supports Costume, Set Decoration, Props, and Scene Dock rental services, while providing operational and personnel leadership for the New York Asset Centers, with scope to support additional Asset Center operations and broader global initiatives as business needs evolve.

POSITION SUMMARY Provides technical management, inclusive of budget and schedule, for an attraction or attractions under an area of responsibility. Responsible for the successful specification, bid/award, design, production, installation, and acceptance testing of Ride and/or Show systems, to include Set/Scenic, Props. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES   Manages in-field installation, test and adjustment of scenic systems to ensure compliance with contract specifications.

Provides technical management, inclusive of budget and schedule, for a singular contract or scope of work. Responsible for supporting or managing the successful specification, bid/award, design, production, installation, and acceptance testing of Ride and/or Show systems, to include Ride Control, or Show Control Systems. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES    Assists in managing or manages vendors through the process of bidding, designing, manufacturing, testing, shipping, installation, start up, and commissioning of ride or show control systems.

The role requires a forward-thinking storyteller with experience in live streaming, video editing, news writing, producing, and production. Must be knowledgeable on daily news events, aware of past events, and understand news in the New Mexico market. Take charge of the big headlines and weather with innovative showcasing and storytelling. Collaborate with managers, digital team, and assignment desk to deliver complete local news coverage that is fair and accurate. Produce, write, and edit memorable daily segments on all of our platforms.

The Sourcing Manager for Universal Studios Hollywood is responsible for the acquisition of materials at the most economic price possible, considering commodities market fluctuations, shipping and raw goods prices from both U.S.-based and global vendors which may entail purchasing materials in one country to be shipped to another country across the globe. This position is responsible for the timely delivery of goods and may source a variety of categories and services used in the Universal Kids Resort hotel and theme park.
