NBC 5 Chicago, WMAQ-TV, is looking for a talented and motivated Platform Manager to produce weekday early mornings newscast. The Platform Manager is responsible for the overall editorial content for the shows. Essential Functions (Responsibilities): Expected to seamlessly move from one platform to the next as necessary Work with content producers to select the most compelling and relevant stories Work with the production team to ensure smooth and seamless productions as well as with a DayPart Manager and other Platform Managers to ensure the most complete local news coverage.

WMAQ-TV, the NBCUniversal station in Chicago is looking for a Sports Anchor/Reporter to be responsible for gathering information on many current sports events, games and personalities and preparing the information for live on-air broadcast presentation. Responsibilities include providing anchored sports segment(s) for newscasts. Will function in Sports Anchor and Reporter roles, both for on-air and on Station's web site, or another digital platform as assigned. Will work within a strong team environment.
