The Executive Producer is a leadership position overseeing the creation, production and promotion components of a brand new 3PM newscast on KXAS. This position encompasses editorial leadership of the new broadcast and non-linear content. The Executive Producer's role is to oversee production of news content on multiple platforms, provide guidance and direction to news employees and be an active member of the news management team. The ideal candidate will know how to motivate and manage a team in producing a show that is a great marriage between in-depth content and viewer advocacy.

NBCUniversal’s Owned Television station in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, KXAS TV, is looking for a skilled Producer to help take our content to a new level across multiple platforms. We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about news, loves to dig into a story and loves to write. You’ll work closely with managers to create innovative, up-to-the-minute content that resonates with our viewers wherever they need it.
