NBC News Digital Video Productions is seeking an experienced and creative journalist, to produce, script, shoot and edit for its original social video team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to creating original social videos for NBC News and our GenZ news brand Stay Tuned; helping evolve the overall social video presence of these news brands with a focus on vertical video for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Snapchat; identifying key news moments and figuring out the best companion social video. NBC News Digital is seeking a breaking news editor to assign and edit breaking news stories on a wide range of topics. The morning editor will play a key role in setting up the digital breaking news team for success, assigning and editing many of the first stories of the day. You will start your morning full of ideas about what needs to get done and develop a plan to accomplish it. You’ll be across the latest updates on the major stories of the moment, both what we have reported and what our competitors are up to.

NBC News Digital is looking for an editor to join its owned platforms team, helping with weekend coverage needs. The editor will curate the NBCNews.com homepage and app, write breaking news alerts for app and email, and distribute content to partners such as Apple News, Yahoo and Flipboard. The editor will handle stories from all newsroom sections, including breaking news, politics, business, sports and lifestyle. The ideal candidate will have strong editorial judgment and excellent writing and editing skills.
