Job Duties Enterprise news stories Gather information Shoot, write and edit newsworthy events including breaking/spot news, general news, sports and feature stories relevant to the Washington, D.C. community Create web content that complements the station website Report, write and produce packages content for multiple newscasts each day and for other platforms as assigned Develop and maintain a network of news sources providing access to exclusive local news Active community involvement Work closely with Producers, News Managers and Assignment Editors, as well as Reporters and Anchors to gather, produce, write and desktop edit Research and produce news segments Field produce, conduct interview and shoot stories Present stories live on air partnering with photographers and as a single person MMJ Develop and pitch story ideas
