Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing, Marketing and Post-Production
Role Purpose: The Senior Manager, Post-Production & Marketing Sourcing will be a part of the NBCUniversal Group Procurement organization and be responsible for sourcing activities related to post-production and marketing. The individual will be working hand in hand with all areas of film, home entertainment and television pursuing the Company’s global sourcing objectives and initiatives. This role will report directly to the Vice President Sourcing, Global Post-Production for all post- production, sourcing-related projects and day-to-day activities. Additionally, this role has a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Vice President Sourcing, Marketing for all marketing related initiatives. Responsibilities: The Senior Manager will be expected to create commercial value for NBCU in its transactions with suppliers by engaging the following initiatives: Assist development of sourcing category strategies by performing deep data analysis of supplier spend and supplier category market trends Help organize and execute strategic sourcing initiatives resulting from the above analysis that will result in supplier deals with terms that support NBCU key operating objectives Influence and maintain strong relationships with NBCU business stakeholders by serving as a partner, providing sourcing and procurement expertise to aid in achieving business goals Work closely with NBCU global post-production and marketing business partners to validate sourcing strategies and prioritize initiatives that create value for the Company Carry out sourcing functions including: Leading complex and/or large-scale RFPs and RFIs as needed Evaluating supplier fit based on pre-determined selection criteria Preparing and executing clear, structured negotiations of complex deal terms for contracts Calculating the cost savings/value added metrics stemming from sourcing initiatives Effectively and efficiently manage cross functional projects in a matrix organization Anticipate problems and solutions in supplier negotiations and deals requiring evaluation of tangible and often intangible variables
