Meteorologist, Telemundo T31 Orlando

The Meteorologist is responsible for anchoring, reporting and covering weather related news. This position will report to the Chief Meteorologist. Responsibilities: WTMO in Orlando, FL is looking for an experienced, skilled meteorologist to anchor and produce weather segments across all content platforms, including on-air and the station’s website. Essential Functions/Responsibilities Gather and prepare weather information for on-air presentation in the WTMO newscasts and special reports outside of regularly-scheduled newscasts. Provide creative ideas to showcase the weather segment in an informative and compelling manner. Employ strategy and engagement in social media including sending severe weather alerts/warnings. Provide input to newscast producers relating to the weather segments. Will need to be available to report for all severe weather situations.
