Associate Producer

The Associate Producer is responsible for overseeing graphics, supers, banners, and full screens for assigned daily show. They work closely with line producers to share the daily rundown, bring ideas and strategies to keep our audience engaged and help promote stories. Job Duties: Responsible for creating supers, banners, and full screens for daily show and calling them on air. Collaborates with producers to fulfill graphic needs for segments. Reviews shows to eliminate spelling and grammar mistakes on air. Acts as a liaison with the graphics department to troubleshoot as needed. Understands Chyron and Viz operations to work with assigned operators. Works closely with Line Producers to discuss ideas for the rundown and visual needs of the show. Works on the promotional elements of the show, including headlines and promos. Assists line producer in backtiming the shows when needed. Attends production meetings to brainstorm ideas and ways to visually enhance content. Communicates with technical operations when needed to complete the vision of the show. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
