Financial Analyst

As a Financial Analyst, you will provide analysis to the NBC Sports Next business group to help guide both strategic and financial decisions. You will partner with the Finance team and Senior Leadership to create meaningful plans and periodic forecasts that reflect the state of the business and provide for a meaningful financial benchmark. Additionally, you will provide ad-hoc decision-making support for strategic initiatives and special projects. Job Duties Develop and maintain financial reports to clearly communicate actual results, forecasted performance, and variances to plan, forecast, and budget Foster strong relationships with business leaders across the organization to support financial planning and performance measurement including reporting and analysis Enhance financial visibility of international business segments, partnering with UK teammates to deliver expanded financial reporting Participate in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes Support the monthly close process, including accruals, invoices, and re-classes Assist domestic and international FP&A teams with various reporting and ad hoc requests Bring new thinking and ways of doing things to the team, as appropriate, including analyzing and championing new metrics, reporting, and performance indicators to identify key financial trends
