Manager Employee Relations & Investigations

The Manager, Employee Relations & Investigations will thoroughly and expeditiously investigate Team Member concerns in a fair, unbiased, and consistent manner. The ideal candidate will need to have significant experience operating in a fast paced and guest facing environment and possesses a strong generalist skill set working in Union and Non-Union organizations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Responsible for conducting in-depth interviews and investigations, including gathering and evaluating information; preparing reports, determining facts; conferring with managers about issues to resolve problems and answer questions regarding HR processes specific to investigations and discipline; assisting with preparation of disciplinary documentation. Develop and implement standardized processes for conducting investigations and tracking and documenting employee relations claims and cases. Maintain detailed and accurate accounts of investigations with timely memorialization of the notes and supporting documents into a centralized system. Independently manage assigned casework, bringing investigations to closure rapidly and definitively Analyze aggregate casework data to identify issue trends and opportunities for proactive issue mitigation Partner in analysis and revision of Team Member programs, policies, and practices to sustain a positive work environment. Train, Coach, counsel, and educate Team Members at all levels on HR policies, processes, programs, and strategies Use sound judgment, discretion and creative problem-solving approach to conduct investigations and ensure the timely resolution of complex employee relations issues Provide counseling, advice and guidance to Management and HR partners in dealing with complex or sensitive employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent enforcement of policies and practices. Participate in Diversity and Inclusion Council to develop an environment that embraces our diverse culture throughout the organization. Partner with Legal and deliver compliance training.
